Soroi Larsens Camp Safari Experience The property's ambience offers an authentic luxury bush experience from the outset. The camp exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were extremely spacious, well-furnished, and clean, with a panoramic view of the Ewaso Nyiro River, and on good days, you can spot several animals coming to quench their thirst from your room. Unfortunately, ours was more of a work trip, so we didn't have much time to enjoy the camp's full natural beauty. The staff are rapt, professional, and genuinely committed to creating a seamless guest experience. Our surprise bush breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. I really loved the pizza; please try it when you visit. My personal favourite was the Deluxe star beds; a little heaven on earth. For anyone seeking something intimate, tucked away in the bushes, with the silent chirp of crickets and the beautiful skyline of Samburu, this is the place to be. Overall, the property offers a 5-star experience. And to Mercy Leitich, Narasha, our Safari Guide, and to the entire Soroi Team, thank you so much for the good coordination and hospitality. Everything was beautiful.

Amazing, personalized experience in Maasai Mara!! We visited Soroi Private Wing in late November 2025 as part of our honeymoon. It was all perfect - the service, the food and drink, and the setting were all outstanding. We were the only ones at the camp for part of our stay, and every single staff member went out of their way to make our visit special including our amazing waiter, Donald, bartender, Pose, and room attendant, Washington. Shoutout to Joseph who is doing a great job managing this camp. It is an extremely peaceful setting. When we weren't on game drives, we spent time reading, playing cards, having a cocktail, and watching the hippos. Tented rooms were spacious and comfortable, and have a large porch. Shower / bathroom were great. Our guide was also wonderful. We enjoyed getting to know him and we saw so many animals. Highlight was a lioness bringing a kill back to her cubs. We loved the packed breakfast and sunset cocktail. Thank you Andy!!! Also, the location is minutes from the Ol Kiombo Airstrip which is so convenient. We cannot recommend enough and would love to return in the future.

Soroi Samburu Lodge Soroi Samburu Lodge was great, and since it’s in the same chain as Larsens Camp, the service felt very similar. The difference is that Larsens leans more into that luxury boutique vibe, while Samburu Lodge also delivers beautifully, but it’s perfect for anyone who wants that cosy cottage experience. The exterior is well thought out, the spaces are generous, and the interiors really scream luxury. We didn’t explore many rooms since most were occupied, but from the short experience it delivers. They also offer a buffet meal plan, which is a win for anyone who prefers variety over à la carte. Location-wise, no complaints you’re right in the action with easy access to the wildlife. Did I love it? Absolutely. Would I return or recommend it to clients? Without hesitation, yes. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

Perfect place with super food and very nice people. Maurice and team were just outstanding. Very caring without being intrusive. Outstanding Experience! What a great experience! The staff was very accommodating and the facility excellent, located on the banks of a river complete with hippos by the dozen. Food was outstanding! Our guide was native Massai and did an excellent job, seemingly with a sixth sense as to where to find the critters. Great memories. We'll be back!

Memorable Stay in Samburu Our experience here was our first real safari in Africa. Everything about the facility was great. Special thank you to the manager, Harrison, and his able team, especially Rosa who became my wife's lifelong friend. Adam is a great manager. Bella gives lovely massages. If you prefer smaller hotels this place is perfect. Food and service was great. Views are spectacular. Game drives were beautiful. Look no further! This camp is the best! The tents are comfortable and beautifully appointed (love the double vanities), the staff is best in class, the food is delicious (shout out to Chef Henry) and wildlife abounds. On the day of check in, there was an elephant eating right outside our tent. I also loved that our tent faced the river. Sipping coffee on the deck and watching the sun come up over the water was the best way to start the day. Thank you, Larsens Team!

Warm hospitality and nature's beauty at Soroi Larsen's My two nights stay at Soroi Larsens was wonderful. I truly enjoyed the meals and the serene beauty of nature, especially waking up to the soothing sound of the Ewaso Nyiro River flowing just outside my tent and the warmth from Soroi team. Very specious and clean rooms. A special thank you to Purity and Sakita for their friendliness and for sharing a glimpse of Samburu culture with me. Each morning and after every game drive, Jesse checked in to ensure we were comfortable, and Kennedy, together with the bar and restaurant team, made sure every meal was prepared perfectly to our liking.
