I've visited this place twice for field notes. One of those classes was for sedimentary rock explorations, which are very beautiful and remarkable to look at. Moreover, I think the fossils of extinct mammals were mind boggling and the tragedy of how dinosaurs and mammals thousands upon thousands of years ago is still tragic but allow me to realize the important of animals throughout time. I would highly recommend coming to the South Dakota School of mines because of the students are hardworking and willing to answer questions and update the museum's architecture and fossils. Also, the gift shop is incredible of the similarity, and most of the things to buy are cheap. Check it out!!
