We had a really lovely stay on the farm in Tennessee. Waking up each morning and being greeted by the animals was such a special experience and honestly one of the highlights of our trip. It was peaceful, unique, and felt like a true escape from the hustle of everyday life.The owner is absolutely lovely and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. They even made sure we had treats to feed the animals, which added such a thoughtful and fun touch to our stay.The place itself was very charming and comfortable. It was a bit cold during our stay, but the electric fireplace and plenty of cozy blankets kept us warm and comfortable, so it wasn’t an issue at all.Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we truly enjoyed every moment. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, farm-style getaway.

Cute little place right next to the pasture, we loved walking out to the cattle. It’s small but has what you need, the bunk up the stairs is just right but the climb to get there and back down requires paying attention. The little bathroom is nice but the mirror above the sink is really low, which makes it difficult to spit after brushing your teeth. Cute place that I would stay at again.

Only pet-friendly Airbnb we could find centralized in the area we were hiking. Fortunately for us, it was a 5-star accommodation! This has high-ratings for a reason. Hosts Laurie and David are in the Airbnb business for all the right reasons. Get this...they even had 5-star toilet paper (a small detail that goes a long way for guests!). Really cozy upstairs private apt. We liked the comfortable bed, kitchen island, electric fireplace, and clean hardwood floors. Watching the animals down below in their pen while we ate meals was great entertainment. Washer and Dryer a nice bonus. Well done, guys.

This cottage was the perfect getaway for my birthday. Very peaceful, fresh air, fire pit, and the beautiful stars, is just what I needed to relax and recharge! The amount of s'mores that I ate can hold me for a year 🥰 the animals were the best part!! Soooo cute and friendly!I hope anyone who goes to the Highland Cottage enjoys it as much as I did!

My experience at Little Tail Farms was amazing! I was traveling back home to Georgia and decided to stop for a little retreat and it definitely met my expectations for retreating! The cows and animals were super friendly and a highlight of my morning. Overall an amazing experience :)

The tiny house was even cuter than the pictures!! They provided everything I needed and the view was phenomenal! It was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it was a good size for me. The only thing I didn’t love was the couch. It wasn’t super comfortable and didn’t really have arms to lean on, but a few pillows fixed it fine. The steps to the loft bed was a little hard to navigate in the middle of the night to potty, but that’s definitely a me problem lolBut a railing would be nice ☺️Over all a wonderful experience and the hosts were so nice and welcoming

An absolutely enjoyable stay at The Highland Cottage. It was cozy and comfortable.. a delight to wake up to the sight of Highland cows grazing in the pasture just outside. The farm tour was engaging and lovely. All the animals on the farm are well taken care of. In short, we had a wonderful stay and will be back.

Little Tail Farms was such a treat and was a great week get away from home but not to far from home. We enjoyed seeing all the animals and our host were very friendly and had many recommendations for us. We went to the Cagle Trading Restaurant for breakfast, saw Cumberland Cavern, Fall Creek Falls, and tried Cookie Jar Cafe for our last dinner night. The farm itself was very cozy and quiet, we needed a break from our everyday routine and this was a great refresher. We even brought our puppy and he enjoyed the adventure as well. We will for sure visit again when we need another get away! Thanks again Laurie & David!
