I can't speak highly enough about Essex Roofing Ltd, Lewis and all the team who worked on our house are superb. If you are considering doing any roofing works or Velux windows replaced or installed I highly recommend you using these guys. It was a big decision and commitment from us to undertake the works but Chris/Lewis and the team listened and gave brilliant advice from the start. There was no pushy hard sell and the price was very competitive considering the scale of the works. The team worked tirelessly in very hot conditions and were always polite and tidy and always kept us informed of progress. A big shout out to Lloyd (an ever present on site) who's passion and professional standards shone through, also J &J Scaffolding who were equally as brilliant. We are beyond happy with the finish and high standards of work, which have transformed our house!! The works consisted of replacing and adding Velux windows and new installation and roof tiles all round. Brilliant job and thanks to everyone of your team who contributed to an outstanding finish. Would definitely recommend.
I was looking for some repair and maintenance work on my roof including replacing some damaged and missing slates and also some carpentry work on the clock tower. Lewis provided a very competitive quote and work started as planned. Everyone was very considerate of the property and the neighbours, they did a great job and although there have been some delays in some of the materials required, they stayed in touch and kept us updated at every stage of the process. Overall very happy with quality and price.
High Quality Roofing Work at A Fair Price!
After a terrible experience with a previous roofer, we obtained quotes from eight roofing contractors from different sources, to ensure that we selected the right firm for the work. The criteria were: reputable, knowledgeable, established contractor, detailed quotation including the lead work required, able to start the work within a reasonable time frame and a price that reflected the level of workmanship we required. Some quotes were too low to expect a proper job, whilst a couple of quotes were eye wateringly expensive. Lewis Woodhouse from Essex Roofing was the only contractor that met every aspect of our selection criteria, and in addition, is a Which Trusted Trader. The Roofers; Joe, Pete and Lloyd took a pride in their workmanship, were polite, helpful, possessed good communication skills and did not object when I joined them on the scaffolding at various stages to observe progress. We are very happy with the completed work and have already recommended Essex Roofing to one of our neighbours.
Essex Roofing supplied and fitted 2 Velux roof windows, as the current ones were leaking.
From start to finish they were punctual, professional, courteous and tidy.
