My life has been changed since starting the Lactation Consultant Launchpad program! Thanks to Leslie & Mother Nurture Maternity I have been able to start my journey to becoming an IBCLC, something that felt very far out of reach beforehand. Leslie is wonderful!! Not only did she assist me with producing more milk but she also advised me to see my Pediatrician in referencing to the latching issue my baby was having. Leslie is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to us! I couldn't, or didn't have the same support with my first child, as I did with Leslie. She found that our daughter had oral ties, when other doctors said she didn't. Leslie came to our home many times, video appointments, and endless texts. It has been 2 years and still going strong. I cannot say enough good things about Leslie. I do wish we had her for our first! Highly Recommend!!!

I am so blessed to have found Leslie!!! I was able to breastfeed my first child with no issues for almost 2 years! So when I started to run into challenges with my second baby, I had no idea what to do or how to remedy the situation.
I was referred to Mother Nurture by my doula, and I was so pleased with the experience from start to finish. I was able to get an in house appointment right away, and my appointment was also covered by insurance! Leslie was so polite, attentive, and I was very at ease around her. She was quickly able to assess what the issue was... turns out that my son was only able to consume the amount a 1 month old would be drinking at 6 months old..... 💔 He was so fussy and upset when trying to nurse, and now I know why!!! He was severely underweight, and needed a turnaround to happen fast.
Leslie helped me navigate pediatrician appointments, dental appointments for possible tongue tie, and helped me figure out how to start him on solid foods. She was literally so helpful, and even though I made the decision not to nurse for much longer after this, my mind was put at ease because of her guidance and assurance. Although she is a lactation consultant, she was supportive of my choice to switch to formula and did not make me feel judged or less-than for choosing an alternative option. Although continuing to nurse was still an option, it would've been a long up-hill battle due to my supply being so low. She is truly concerned with the health of the baby as well as mom's mental health above all else. I have referred Leslie and Mother Nurture to other new moms, and will absolutely be working with her again if we are blessed with any more babies.

I can’t rave about Leslie enough! She is amazing and so helpful! As a new mom navigating a very tough breastfeeding journey she made a huge difference. My baby wasn't latching correctly and it was beyond painful. She gave me different techniques to try and then she figured out he had a posterior tongue tie. She continued to work with me and referred me to the place that fixed his tongue tie. I can confidently say that I was able to continue my breastfeeding journey for 19 months because of her help! I am forever grateful! So if you are looking for a lactation specialist I highly recommend her! Not only is she one of the kindest people I've ever met she is extremely knowledgable! Leslie was instrumental in my relactation journey. Uneducated about the breastfeeding process prior to having my first baby, I found myself needing to relactate, which left me feeling defeated and unmotivated. A call to Leslie changed the trajectory of my experience. She was not only highly knowledgeable but also my personal cheerleader. Thanks to her, I am very happy and satisfied with the nutrition I can now provide for my baby. If I could do it all over again, I would have hired her sooner prior to birth. Where to even start. Leslie is amazing, she is literally the best lactation consultant and nurse around. She was the ONLY one that was actually helpful to me during my breast feeding journey. My son couldn’t hold his latch so I ended up exclusively pumping. I really wanted to nurse him but he couldn’t hold his latch or transfer enough milk. After everyone told me that my child didn’t have a tongue or lip tie, Leslie confirmed that he had both. She recommended a place to get it corrected and afterwards helped us teach him how to latch and teach me how to nurse. She also helped me lower my supply to exclusively nurse him. Once he was drinking water and eating three meals of BLW food a day, I wanted to lower his nursing sessions. She helped me naturally drop sessions until I was down to one nursing session for bed. I literally can’t brag about Leslie enough! She helped me achieve all of my breastfeeding goals! We love her!
Working with Leslie was incredible. My baby girl was having a really difficult time staying latched and her latch was painful. She was also very tight and spent the first few weeks of her life basically crying anytime she wasn’t feeding or sleeping. Leslie came in and helped improve her latch almost immediately with her technique. She gave us helpful exercises to do over the course of several weeks that make breastfeeding SIGNIFICANTLY better for both my daughter and me. She also was the only person my daughter didn’t cry when she saw in those first few weeks. She took her and did some gentle massage and body work to help release some of her body tension and my daughter was so calm and receptive to it. I would work with Leslie again and again and definitely refer her to all my mom friends!
Leslie has been incredibly helpful on my lactation journey. I had a difficult birth and was worried about my supply. She provided me with excellent tools to give my baby girl what she needs. She also provided great emotional support postpartum. I really appreciate Leslie, her helpful house visits, kindness, and no judgement attitude.
Leslie was a lifesaver. I hired her after my baby had his tongue tie fixed, and I was almost exclusively pumping. Leslie helped me relax and showed me some tricks to get him to latch properly. I was able to slowly transition away from pumping, and now I exclusively breastfeed with ease. Highly recommend!

In my first pregnancy, I struggled for 2 months in pain & agony with breastfeeding because I didn't know about lactation consultants so for my second pregnancy, I made sure to seek out one. Leslie was highly recommended by a lot of women in my community and that was important to me.
I appreciated that Leslie had different means of meeting with moms such as at-home visits, virtual visits, and in-office visits. Our first visit was a virtual and she was very attentive to my concerns (because I was still dealing with pain with breastfeeding my second). Our second meeting was an in-home visit and she assessed my newborn and how we were breastfeeding.
She made careful observations, she was clean, she was nurturing. After assessing my newborn, it's possible that my son has a minor tongue tie so I made the decision to exclusively pump and Leslie was very supportive which I appreciated.
I would recommend Leslie to anyone! I am so thankful for her and her help. By her laying out all of the options for me as well as her support, it's helped me through my postpartum journey and I cannot thank her enough.
Leslie was invaluable to my breastfeeding confidence. I had the opportunity to talk with her on just a few occasions as I prepared for my second birth. In that short time, she helped me make decisions and get some plans going for how and when it made sense to do certain things. She covered many topics in a brief time, which helped me to deepen my knowledge. I loved that she invited me to ask more questions so she could hunt down relevant research for me.
