My college friend move to North Carolina to start his family. A few years later, he and his wife got into a nasty custody battle and knowing that I was an attorney, he asked me by chance if I knew anyone. Thank goodness I had met Jana years prior, and knew that she was amazing so I recommended her. She made me look so good! This was a child support case in which we were seeking arrears. I had hired another attorney for my daughter 10 months prior and he, Chad Buckingham, was a nightmare to deal with. Months would go by without any correspondence, etc. After not hearing ANYTHING from him for 69 days, though the opposing party was ready to settle, I found Jana Jones, read reviews, and she was hired. Mine and my daughter's dealings with Buckingham had left us very frustrated, & skeptical and we had lots of questions & comments to share. Jana and her team were very patient and responded to ALL emails quickly and though I am sure they got tired of hearing from me, it never showed. In less than two months, we have a settlement agreement signed by the judge and opposing party and we are very thankful to have this 'almost' behind us. Though I would have liked to have seen the opposing party's finances & the previous attorney's 'discovery' delved into a little deeper and suggestions made with this information, I still give Jana and her team a Five Star and am grateful for their work!
