I recently completed my Certificate III in Disability with Gateway Training Academy and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
My trainer, Yashu Bastola was knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure students understood both the theory and practical aspects of the course. She was approachable and encouraging throughout, making the learning environment positive and inclusive. Yashu, you are dearly loved and appreciated.
Ciccy, our administrator was simply awesome. She promptly responded to enquiries and provided the required support when needed.
The team at the head office- Dion, Melissa and Amy also did a wonderful job in ensuring that placements were secured on time.
Lastly, i want to commend Christiana Down, my assessor during placement for the encouragement and visits.
I highly recommend Gateway Training Academy to anyone looking to pursue a career in aged care or disability support.

Since I’ve studied at Gateway College, I have already learnt so much and been given the awareness around the different cultures we have here in Australia.
Being Australian myself I have enjoyed meeting new people and hearing their perspective on the world and subjects we discus. It has taught me so much and I just wanted to thankyou for giving me opportunity to study with you guys.
I love how you guys are flexible with the hours and are so kind and welcoming :)

My experience at Gateway Academy was one of the best times of my academic life. l would like to sincerely thank my trainer Yashoda Bastola "Yasho" for equipping me with valuable knowledge and practical industry skills that has made me a more confident professional. She is an outstanding trainer who combines deep industry experience with a clear understanding of current standards, legislation, and best practices. She always demonstrates ethical practice and ensures her students understand the importance of professionalism in the care industry - one of the memorable things she taught us was how to start a professional email with “I hope this email finds you well.”
She truly understands how adults learn best — through practice, reflection, and feedback. Her clear, empathetic communication and patient teaching style made every class engaging and supportive.
I would also like to give special thanks to Tahnee, Charity (Training Coordinator), and Tina, who always went above and beyond to provide extra support with a respectful and inclusive attitude.
