Ash and Lou are simply just great and the HQ is next level. They are both super friendly and accomodating with a huuge breadth of knowledge of health and fitness. I am lucky enough to be work neighbours with them and seeing them transform next door from a bare space to the amazing gym setup they have created has been awesome. Wasn’t long before I had to ditch my commercial gym for their next level GymLeco kitted out gym. Great space to lock in and take it up a level, the encouragement of them both along with all other awesome members you’ll meet if you join helps so much and every session is fun as well as rewarding. Could not recommend the HQ and Ash and Lou more.

I came across AMF HQ on Instagram and decided to give their page a follow and I was blown away when I received a message almost straight away! A friendly “Hey – thanks for the follow, are you a local???” kicked off such a genuine and relaxed conversation. No pressure, just real, down-to-earth people who clearly care. I mentioned I was working with Louise (aka The Boss Lady) and before we knew it, my husband and I were invited down to the gym to check things out. From the moment we walked in, we were met with such warmth and zero judgment — it honestly felt like being welcomed into a family. Ash and Lou are incredibly kind, compassionate and full of positive energy. Their approachability and openness made such a big impression on us. We couldn’t ask for anything better — thank you for making us feel so comfortable and supported from the get-go!

They've created such a welcoming and motivating environment, and their passion for fitness and helping others shines through in everything they do. New and thoughtfully selected equipment, clean and tidy space. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly team on hand, great app included in membership and options for PT training. Gym never feels crowded and other members are very respectful and mindful of sharing the space and keeping it clean for next user. Perfect gym for my needs.

AMF is quite easily one of the best gyms I've been too, certainly the best in the Bay of Plenty region. Top quality equipment. Certainly a bodybuilders paradise for sure and is never over populated. Highly recommend to anyone!
